NYTimes Disagrees with Night School Review of Metzger Exhibition

I know it’s shocking and maybe they hadn’t had a chance to read how moved I was by the show, but in today’s review of the Gustav Metzger exhibition, Metzger is accused of being “blunt, heavy-handed and trite.”  There’s no question that one can make that argument, but maybe art can be poetic and accessible at the same time.
